The Kingdom of God

A way of relating to one another that brings healing and freedom. You will know your in the Kingdom when: forgiveness replaces revenge, service replaces being served, sacrificial love replaces bondage to self.

Heaven

Spend five minutes each day imagining what heaven is like. Contemplate the Kingdom of Heaven, comfort, inheriting the land, satisfaction of seeing justice, receiving mercy, seeing God, being a child of God…

Three character goals

Accept with peace,all pain and suffering that comes your way Humble yourself,in everything you do and everything you receive Love faithfully,those things that exist but cannot be seen. If you possess these three qualities, you cannot be evil,and will be on the road to “supreme happiness”.(well, at least pointed in the right direction)

Purpose

Do not focus on the circumstances in your life,Share your gifts with those around you. Do not focus on your needs and wants,Share God’s love with those you meet. The love you get from GodIs always greater thanthe love you give to others.

Tough road to hoe

Christ’s act of redemption does not end with the forgiveness of my sins. That is the starting point. It is complete when my heart is changed and willing to forgive and serve those who I feel have wronged me. Then, I am happy.

Avoiding and Doing

Avoiding temptation is less than half the battle. Doing what is right is what makes one whole. Do not settle for doing everything that is asked, also complete that which is missing. Having love as the motivation of all of your actions and you will share God’s happiness.

Be Happy

Think about the people you know who have a wealth of possessions and yet seem unhappy or unfulfilled. Now think about the people you know who have very little and yet who radiate peace and contentment. Not all the wealthy are unhappy, and neither are all the poor overjoyed but, the truth remains that happiness …
